The Housing Authority of Miami Beach (HAMB), established in 1949, is committed to providing decent, safe & sanitary housing to low-income families in Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County, Florida. HASB is proud to be a part of the Miami Beach community with multiple housing developments throughout the area. HAMB also administers funds through the Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher program that allows low-income families the freedom to choose quality housing while maintaining rent payments they can afford. HAMB also helps veterans with housing solutions to fit their needs. HAMB provides housing for approximately 500 Affordable Housing, Project-Based Vouchers and Mixed Housing units and manages approximately 3,600 Section 8/Housing Choice Vouchers for area landlords. HAMB is a High-Performer Agency.

Mission: To provide those in need with quality affordable housing in economically mixed settings while promoting resident self-sufficiency and fostering strong neighborhoods.
